How it works

  1. 1

    Skin assessment

A certified provider analyzes your skin, identifies your primary concerns, and recommends the treatment family (microneedling, peel, PRP, or laser) best suited to your goals and skin type.

  2. 2

    Targeted treatment

Your chosen treatment is performed in a comfortable session — most take 30–60 minutes. Numbing or cooling is used where appropriate. A patch test precedes any laser or peel on sensitive skin.

  3. 3

    Build results

Most skin concerns respond best to a series of 3–5 sessions. We track your progress between visits and adjust the plan as your skin improves.

What’s included

  • Free skin assessment with a certified medical aesthetician
  • Treatment recommendation matched to your concern and skin type
  • Patch test before any laser or peel where indicated
  • Medical-grade products and post-treatment care guidance
  • Progress review between sessions

Frequently asked questions

Which skin treatment is right for me?

It depends on your concern. Texture and scarring respond well to microneedling; dullness and breakouts to peels; pigmentation and redness to laser; overall rejuvenation to PRP. Your free assessment will match you to the best option.

How much downtime should I expect?

It varies by treatment. Microneedling and light peels: a day or two of redness. Deeper peels and laser: several days of flaking or redness. Your provider tells you exactly what to expect before you book.

How many sessions will I need?

Most skin concerns need a series of 3–5 sessions spaced a few weeks apart for cumulative, lasting results. Maintenance sessions every few months keep results looking their best.

Are these treatments safe for darker skin tones?

Many are, but some lasers and peels carry a higher risk of pigment changes on darker skin. This is exactly why we patch-test and customize settings — and why some treatments require a consultation before purchase.

Can I combine treatments?

Often, yes — for example microneedling with exosomes, or a peel series alongside laser pigmentation treatment. Your provider will sequence them safely.

Before you book

Please book a consultation before purchasing if any of the following apply:

  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have active acne cysts, open wounds, eczema, or psoriasis in the treatment area.
  • You’ve used isotretinoin (Accutane) in the past 6 months.
  • You’ve had recent sun exposure or self-tanner (for laser and peel treatments).
  • You have a history of keloid scarring or cold sores (we may prescribe prophylaxis).
  • You take photosensitizing medication.

Your free assessment includes a medical-history review so we recommend only treatments that are safe and effective for your skin.

About this treatment

“Skin Treatments” covers the full range of medical-grade facials and resurfacing procedures offered at Canada MedLaser. The right one for you depends on your concern, your skin type, and how much downtime you can take.

Microneedling creates controlled micro-channels that stimulate collagen for smoother texture, smaller pores, and softened acne scarring. Add a glycolic booster or exosomes to amplify results.

Medical and chemical peels — including our Green Peel and targeted acne peels — exfoliate damaged surface layers to reveal brighter, more even skin and to manage breakouts.

PRP skin rejuvenation uses growth factors from your own blood to accelerate healing and collagen production, often paired with microneedling for a “vampire facial” effect.

Laser treatments address pigmentation (sunspots, age spots, melasma), vascular concerns (broken capillaries, rosacea, leg veins), and overall resurfacing for tone and texture.

How to choose. Each treatment family has its own recommended course — usually a series of 3–5 sessions for cumulative results. Your free consultation includes a skin analysis so your provider can recommend the most effective option (or combination) for your goals and book a patch test where needed.
